Carrie Sizelove

Agent/Broker

Carrie Sizelove is an Associate Advisor for Team Southwest.

After having lived in Albuquerque as a child, her family relocated to Minnesota where she lived until returning to Albuquerque in 1991. “It’s the quality of light and my vivid memories of NM that brought me back.” Carrie earned an MA from UNM in Classical Studies and went on to take a degree in Interior Design. As a Past President of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and a designer at Modulus Design, she has many years of working in commercial design and on tenant improvements.

When coming back to Albuquerque, Carrie’s first instinct was to drive downtown to see what was happening, but once there she realized downtown was depleted and distressed, and only thriving at night. It had a lasting impact on her view of the untapped potential of downtown Albuquerque. As a broker for the last 3 years, Carrie has been working with tenants and owners in the retail and office sector, mainly specializing in medical cannabis tenants. But because of her fondness for the downtown area, a majority of her listings are downtown, including the public-private partnership at One Central.

Meanwhile, over the past 4 years, Carrie has also been working on the board of an independent retirement development. Finding that her skills in real estate coupled with her knowledge of universal design and interior planning have been a value-added strength to such a specialized project. She would ultimately like to find more ways of developing communities for seniors and retirees, and aid in the creation of integrated independent living for elders. She deeply believes that building meaningful and sustainable communities is an achievable goal here in New Mexico.
